At the Downham Market Carnival and Fun Day held on bank holiday Monday 27th May, the Downham Market office ran a tombola to raise funds for the West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association, who are based at the Magpie Centre. The team raised £141 for the charity which runs up to 130 riding and carriage driving lessons a week for people of all ages and abilities.
Our staff attended the Watlington Village Fete on Saturday 15th June, luckily the heavy rain held off for most of the day and a good time was had by all. At Ward Gethin Archer, we really enjoy getting out and about in the local communities on our doorstep.
On Saturday 29th June, our Chatteris office had a stall at the Chatteris Midsummer Festival. The festival theme this year was #Throwback – 100 years of Music and Fashion. The Chatteris office team raised £200 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who are tasked an average of eight times a day from their bases in Norwich and Cambridge.
